TRE and self-regulation

Through the practice of TRE we can learn to understand what it means to regulate – the capacity to start and stop the tremors, the capacity to understand comfort and discomfort and make adjustments to stay in the comfort zone whilst doing the exercises, to be able to tolerate the physical sensations and emotional feelings associated with the TRE process without becoming overwhelmed.

we do this through increasing our ability to ground and to be fully present to the experience.
